37Wellllll hey there! I am return-ed from the far north of Alaska, and I come bearing four new pages!
...well, in actuality, the majority of these pages were finished when I came back home. My time in Alaska ended up being kind of eaten up with a bunch of outdoor activities (which is rather predicatable, I suppose), but on top of that I didn't really want to be spending a bunch of time drawing panels of Naked-Cael and freaking out the family I was staying with that I was some sort of pervert, eheheheeeeh.
Alaska was, by all accounts, amazing. I shall upload some photos and link to them in the
FORUM. And speaking of the
FORUM, I might encouraging folks to go and check it out if you haven't been there recently. Some cool topics are going on about ways to improve the comic, which after the response I got from readers from the last update, I think there is definitely a place for ^_^ A place called the
FORUM.
Oh yeah, speaking of that...I definitely got the message that folks weren't too pleased with the stylistic direction I took the last update...many people expressed dislike for the realistic/heavy shadow stuff on the characters' faces. As a good webcomic artist, I have taken the feedback into account and will definitely be parring back from that ^_^;;; I appreciate everyone letting me know what they think, it's good to have a sounding board for stylistic changes, gives me the opportunity to improve as well as take the comic in a direction readers will be happy with ^_^ As the last update stands though, I don't so much mind the heavy shadows....it was meant to sorta implicate that Reagan was planning something with ominous overtones. So yah, be sure and let me know what you think of the style as it changes, I really appreciate hearing from you guys!
And lastly, you may notice a new little Nate avatar to your left...I decided to draw a whole bunch of new ones for my update rants ^_^ Look forward to seeing all my exciting and 100% accurate moods in coming updates, but for those who can't wait here's a link to all of them:
The New Nates!Now that vacation is over, I have just over a month before school begins again, so expect some good updatin' in that time....also, school is gonna be a lot less hectic this semester, so once its up and running again I won't have to put the comic on hiatus like last year...HUZZAH!
